Why Prom?
On our third date, Kevin told me that he didn't go to his prom, he went to the movies with his dad instead. I made a mental note, when Kevin turns forty throw him a prom. Here we are a little over two years later and Kevin's fortieth is fast approaching.
What should I wear?
Go with whatever you have in your closet that says prom. Wear a tuxedo t shirt. Pull out your wedding gown for another spin. Rent a sequence tux. Dye that bridesmaid dress a better color. A suit. Style the perfect 80s get up. Essentially, dress for the prom you would love to attend. I have been searching thrift stores, online exchanges, and clearance racks for something fun.
Are kids invited?
Kevin & I love your kiddos but this one is for the grown ups and teenagers. Book that sitter friend it isn't everyday you get to return to the freedom of senior year!
Can we spend the night?
There are several hotels close enough to Uber. A list will be forth coming.
Do I have to get my date flowers?
You don't have to, but who doesn't love a nice corsage or boutonniere?
